Research Program

Dr. Aslan's research addresses the sources, persistence, and mitigation of environmental hazards in water environments. Her work sits at the intersection of public health, environmental sciences, and engineering, with outcomes aimed at supporting rapid detection of environmental pollutants, science-driven decision-making during emergencies, environmental stewardship within communities, and workforce development in water resource management and public health.
